This illustration is inspired by the many fire towers that I’ve hiked to in the Adirondacks. For those unfamiliar with fire towers, they were traditionally used to “guard” the forest by giving rangers a way to watch for forest fires. Black and yellow ink with a brush on watercolor paper.
