Inktober Day 25 – prickly

I had already done a prickly pear cactus for an earlier topic in the challenge, so I didn’t want to repeat that for this one. I also knew I wasn’t going to have a big window of time to work on today’s Inktober illustration, so I had to keep it simple. Now, prickly can also refer to a personality that is easily annoyed, and that made me think of the bighorn sheep that I saw in some National Parks this summer. Those horns just give them such a visual prickly attitude that seemed to say to me, “You better not bug me or I will ram into you!” Black ink with brush on watercolor paper.
