Inktober Day 30 – Jolt

When we drove through Wyoming on our way to Yellowstone National Park this summer, we passed through Bighorn National Forest and an area called Ten Sleep Canyon. I picked this epic location in Ten Sleep Canyon to illustrate for “jolt” because it was one of the first big landscape areas we passed through where I actually said, “Wow!” out loud when we came around a bend in the road and saw this landscape in front of us. It was a beautiful area, and a great introduction to some of the more well known landmarks that we came across as we traveled out west. Black ink with a brush on watercolor paper.
