Day 9 – precious
Inktober Day 9 – Precious
When we travelled through multiple National Parks in the summer of 2018, I told my husband that the main thing I wanted to see in Yellowstone was a buffalo. On our first day we saw one right by our car as we were driving in to the park. “This is great!” I thought. “I got to see a real buffalo!” Little did I know that the next night I would see hundreds and hundreds of buffalo, probably close to a thousand, as we drove north out of Yellowstone at sunset. It was an amazing sight, and something I consider myself very lucky to have witnessed.
The natural world around us is precious, and everyone should be doing everything they can to protect it.
Black and yellow ink with a brush on watercolor paper.
